Mona Newbern'S Sawmill Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. sliced white side (fatback)
    hot water
    flour
    oil
Preparation
    Soak fatback in very hot water until water is completely cool. Mix flour and water together for batter.
    Dip each piece into batter and fry in hot cooking oil until crisp.
