Sandwich Buns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 cake household yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. warm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
    Add yeast mixture to all other ingredients and make softer than bread dough.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk.
    Punch down. For best results, let rise second time until doubled in bulk. Grease hand with oleo.
    Take small pieces of dough and shape into balls.
    Place 1 1/2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
    Flatten down with hand.
    Let rise for 45 minutes.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
