Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. meat (beef, pork, chicken or shrimp)
2 c. beef bouillon
2 medium stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. monosodium glutamate
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 large can Chinese vegetables (reserve 1/4 cup liquid)
Preparation

Fry meat until brown.
Stir in bouillon, celery, onion, soy sauce and monosodium glutamate.
Heat to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
Shake reserved liquid and cornstarch in covered container.
Stir gradually into meat.
When thick, add vegetables and heat thoroughly.
Serve over rice and chow mein noodles.
