Flonnie'S Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. fryer
    6 c. cooked cornbread, crumbled
    4 c. toasted loaf bread, cubed
    1 c. diced onion
    1 c. celery, chopped
    salt to taste
    1 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
    4 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Boil fryer in water to cover until tender-done.
    Remove chicken and set broth aside to cool.
    Debone chicken and chop.
    Saute onion and celery in a small amount of butter or cook in some of the chicken broth.
    Put cornbread, loaf bread, onion, celery, seasonings, eggs and chicken in large bowl.
    Pour broth over ingredients.
    Do not stir until dressing is cool.
    After it is cooled, blend together and pour into a Pyrex dish.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown.
    Use giblets and remaining broth for gravy.
