Southern Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh (cut off cob) or frozen corn
    3 eggs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 c. milk or cream
    1/2 to 1 tsp. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
    cracker crumbs
Preparation
    Beat eggs well and add to corn.
    Melt butter and add to milk. Add spices.
    Add to corn and eggs and stir well.
    Pour into well-greased casserole dish.
    Sprinkle top with cracker crumbs. Bake in a very slow 250\u00b0 oven for 40 to 60 minutes, until custard is set. (Knife stuck into the center will come out clean.)
    Serves 4 to 6.
