Squash Casserole(From The Files Of Charlie Mae Williams) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash
    1 onion
    1 pkg. garlic cheese spread
    salt and pepper
    Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in water and salt until tender (15 to 20 minutes).
    Crumble Ritz crackers and saute in butter.
    Drain squash.
    Put in buttered dish in layers with cheese.
    Top with Ritz cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
