Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries
    1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, slightly drained
    chopped pecans
    sour cream
Preparation
    Mix all of the ingredients except sour cream.
    Pour half of mixture in bowl and set in refrigerator until firm.
    Carefully spread sour cream on top of firm mixture, then pour other half over sour cream and set in refrigerator until firm.
    The second half should remain at room temperature until added.
    This is really pretty in a clear glass bowl.
