Northern Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 cans white Northern beans
1 c. sugar
3/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled (reserve 3 Tbsp. drippings)

Preparation

Drain beans, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
Mix all together. Bake uncovered at 275\u00b0 until most liquid is cooked away.
I usually add some bacon at the end.
