Vegetable Casserole(Stag Night Potatoes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Place potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish.
    Mix together next 7 ingredients and pour over potatoes.
    Top with crushed cornflakes and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
    Serves 12.
