Finnish Reiska - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white flour
    1 c. dark flour (rye or whole wheat)
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine all dry ingredients. Work in fat. Add buttermilk to make a soft dough. Knead on floured board.
    Pat out to desired size. Bake in greased 12-inch round pan at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Prick dough with work before baking.
