Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 (No. 2) can sliced pineapple, drained
    12 to 18 pecan halves
    a cherry in each pineapple
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    5 Tbsp. pineapple juice
Preparation
    Melt butter in a skillet and spread brown sugar in skillet and pineapple on sugar and pecans.
    Put a cherry in each pineapple. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Beat egg yolks until light.
    Add sugar and pineapple juice and sifted flour.
    Fold in whites of eggs that have been beaten until stiff.
    Pour over pineapple and pecans in skillet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
