Cashew Nut Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped and cooked in 1/2 c. oleo until transparent
    2 cans mushroom soup
    1 lb. small flat noodles
    1 small pkg. cashew nuts
    1 tall can Pet milk
    1 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 small can chow mein noodles
Preparation
    After cooking onions in oleo, add beef and stir.
    Mix soup and Pet milk.
    Heat and add to meat mixture.
    Cook noodles.
    Starting with noodles in baking dish, alternate layers of noodles, meat mixture and grated cheese.
    Bake until bubbly hot.
    Just before serving, sprinkle top with nuts and chow mein noodles and brown in oven.
