Ma-Ma'S Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda (add to flour)
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 oz. (two 1 oz. bottles) red food coloring
Preparation
    Cream oil and sugar.
    Add eggs; mix well.
    Add flour, alternating with buttermilk, beginning with flour and ending with flour.
    Last, blend in food coloring.
    Pour mixture into three 8-inch cake pans, or may use three 9-inch pans, which have been greased well and dusted with flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
