German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white wine vinegar
    1 c. water
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    potatoes, cooked, peeled, sliced and drained
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    Miracle Whip
    eggs, hard boiled and chopped
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, water, onion, salt pepper, and sugar in pot. Simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, cool.
    Mix potatoes and vinegar mixture.
    Add olive oil and Miracle Whip to taste.
    Cover and place in freezer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Before serving, add eggs on top.
