Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. ground beef
    2 large onions
    1 large minced clove garlic
    1/3 c. sherry
    3 cans cream of mushroom soup
    3 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown hamburger with onions and garlic until browned.
    Add mushroom soup and sherry to hamburger mixture in crock-pot.
    Stir to blend.
    Cover and simmer on low for 5 to 6 hours.
    Stir in sour cream and heat through.
    Check and correct seasonings.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Serves 12 to 15.
