Sharon'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/3 c. milk
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. peanut butter
Preparation

Mix sugar, cream of tartar and milk.
Boil slowly, stirring constantly, to soft ball stage (238\u00b0).
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and peanut butter.
Do not stir!
Let cool at room temperature.
When lukewarm, beat until creamy and spread in a greased 9-inch square pan.
Place in refrigerator until set (approximately 1 hour).
Cut into squares.
