Fireman Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 raw, thinly sliced potatoes
    2 raw, thinly sliced carrots
    1 large, thinly sliced onion
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 lb. ground beef, slightly browned and drained
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place layer of potatoes on bottom of greased casserole dish. Add layer of carrots, meat and onion.
    Repeat layers, then add green pepper, tomato sauce and water.
    Bake for 1 1/4 hours at 350\u00b0.
