Nippy Pork Chops - cooking recipe

6 lean pork chops (3/4-inch thick)
prepared mustard
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken rice soup
Preparation

Spread pork chops with a thin coating of mustard.
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a bag.
Shake chops in the bag to coat with flour, then brown in oil in a heavy skillet.
Place chops in baking dish.
Cover with soup.
Cover.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 60 minutes.
Place chops on a platter.
Spoon rice on each chop.
Add 1 cup of water to liquid; bring to a boil. Thicken it.
Serve as gravy over mashed potatoes.
