Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. cold water
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. salt
    6 to 6 1/4 c. flour
    2 c. oats, uncooked
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine milk and cold water and heat.
    Pour hot liquid over butter, sugar and salt.
    Stir until butter melts.
    Cool to lukewarm. Stir in 2 cups flour, dissolved yeast and oats.
    Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Turn out on lightly floured surface.
    Knead about 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Shape to form ball.
    Place in greased bowl, turning to coat surface of dough. Cover and let rise in warm place about 1 hour until doubled in size.
