My Black Bottom Pie(Yields One 9-Inch Pie; 6 Generous Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 gingersnaps
    1/4 c. softened butter or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Roll gingersnaps into fine crumbs; mix well with softened butter.
    Line an ungreased 9-inch pie pan with the mixture, pressing crumbs against the bottom and sides.
    Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
    Remove and cool.
