Browny Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. nuts
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add sifted flour, salt and soda. Fold in chopped nuts.
Bake in greased pan (8 x 8 x 2-inch) for 18 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool in pan; cut in squares.
