Snowy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    1/4 c. chives (optional)
    1 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
    Mash potatoes with electric mixer; add cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper and garlic.
    Beat at high speed until smooth.
    Stir in chives.
    Spoon into greased 10-cup casserole dish.
    Dot with butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
