Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef with bone
    3 1/2 qt. water
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. oil
    2 garlic cloves
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. snipped parsley
    1 c. kidney beans
    1 c. green beans
    1 c. peas
    2 c. shredded cabbage
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. spaghetti (in small pieces)
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Simmer beef with water, salt and pepper, covered for 1 hour. Skim off fat.
    Simmer, covered for 3 hours.
    Remove meat from bone.
