Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn oil
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. nuts, chopped and/or raisins
1/4 c. hot water

Preparation

Sift flour and 3 spices.
In separate bowl, mix sugar and oil. Make a hole in middle of dry ingredients.
Add oil mixture, applesauce, nuts and/or raisins, baking soda, powder and water. Mix well.
Place in greased, raised loaf pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Makes one loaf.
