Bertha'S Spicy Bean Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. oleo
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2 c. diced apples
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. mashed cooked pinto beans
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
3/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream oleo.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in beans.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture, blending well.
Fold in apples, raisins, nuts and vanilla.
