Sweetheart Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. crushed pineapple
    1 1/2 Tbsp. plain gelatin
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 small bottle maraschino cherries, cut up
    1 large (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cherry juice
Preparation
    Heat pineapple with sugar until sugar dissolves. Soften gelatin in cold water. Stir gelatin into pineapple mixture. Add lemon and cherry juices to the mixture. Set aside to cool. Mash cream cheese and cut cherries. Mix cherries and cheese with pineapple. Whip the cream and fold into fruit mixture. Pour into greased mold.
