Ingredients

1 large egg
2 c. fresh corn, scraped from cob (about 6 medium size ears)
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. melted butter
about 1/4 c. oil or clarified butter
Corncob Syrup
Preparation

Beat egg in a medium bowl, just enough to mix.
Mix in corn, salt, flour, sugar and butter.
Beat until well blended.
