Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation

Cream the butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until lightly fluffed.
Gradually add flour; beat until smooth.
Pat mixture into ungreased 8 x 8 x 2-inch dish.
Pick with tines of fork evenly over surface to eliminate air bubbles.
Bake in oven on Full power for 3 to 3 1/2 minutes.
Cut into bars while warm.
