Microwave Quick Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1/4 c. powdered fruit pectin
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl combine strawberries and powdered pectin; mix well.
    Microwave on High for 8 to 10 minutes or until mixture comes to full rolling boil, stirring every 2 minutes.
    Stir in sugar, nutmeg and lemon juice.
    Microwave on High for 4 to 6 minutes or until mixture comes to full rolling boil, stirring once halfway through cooking.
    Continue to boil for 1 minute.
    Skim foam.
    Spoon into 4 clean, hot 8-ounce jars; screw lids on firmly.
    Cool several hours.
    Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks or in freezer up to 3 months.
    Makes 4 cups.
