Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter, softened
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs, separated
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Sift flour with baking soda and add to butter mixture a little at a time.
    Add sour cream and vanilla; blend until smooth.
    Fold in softly beaten egg whites.
    Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
