Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. softened butter
3 c. sugar
6 egg yolks
3 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 (8 oz.) sour cream
1/4 tsp. soda
6 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Combine flour and salt.
Combine sour cream and soda.
Add alternately to creamed mixture.
Fold in egg whites and vanilla.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours in large, greased and floured tube pan.
Makes a large cake.
