Macaroni Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. macaroni, cooked
    1 grated carrot
    1 small chopped onion
    celery and parsley (optional)
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    In making sauce, cook sugar, salt, flour, beaten egg, milk, mustard and vinegar over hot water in double boiler, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Add 1 tablespoon butter.
    Blend thoroughly and cool.
