Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. tart apples, pared, cored and thinly sliced (Granny Smith's great)
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of ground nutmeg
    pastry for 2 crust 9-inch pie
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice; mix.
    Combine sugar, flour, spices and dash of salt.
    Mix with apples.
    Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
    Fill with apple mixture.
    Adjust top crust; brush with milk.
    Sprinkle sugar until lightly covered, then cinnamon.
    Slit top crust for steam to escape.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 50 minutes or until done.
