3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. margarine or butter, softened
Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Cut in margarine until particles are fine (like pie dough).
Add milk, egg and vanilla; blend thoroughly.
Dough may be refrigerated, if desired.
Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/8-inch.
Cut out in shapes; decorate with sugar.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 to 8
minutes.
