Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion (2/3 c.), chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 can tomatoes (3 1/2 c.)
    1 c. quick cooking rice
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown meat and onion.
    Drain.
    Combine all other ingredients with meat/onion mixture and pour in casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
