Angel Food Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    pinch of salt
    1 can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1 baked pie shell
Preparation
    Put first four ingredients in saucepan.
    Cook until thick, stirring occasionally.
    When cool, refrigerate until set.
    Fold in pineapple, then fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Put mixture into baked pie shell.
    Refrigerate.
    Decorate with cherries.
