Peanut Butter Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. butter or oleo
4 1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 1/3 c. peanut butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Stir first 3 ingredients until dissolved over heat.
Bring to boil, cook 2 minutes in double boiler or stir constantly.
Cool slightly.
Mix last 3 ingredients with electric mixer, add first mixture to this.
Beat until creamy, press into pan, add peanut chips if desired on top.
Cut in squares.
