Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 to 1/2 c. milk
1/4 stick butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 Tbsp. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
Preparation

Mix sugar and milk in medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil; turn down heat to medium flame.
Add peanut butter and butter, stirring constantly.
Test for consistency by using 1/2 cup cold water. Add a little fudge to water and when fudge forms a ball in your fingers remove from heat.
(Note:
You can use a candy thermometer; bring candy to 240\u00b0.)
Add vanilla and mix with whisk or mixer.
Butter a 9 x 12-inch cake pan or larger platter. Chill; cut into squares and serve.
