Stuffed Beef Tenderloin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (4 to 6 lb.) beef tenderloin
    1 c. Chablis
    1/4 c. butter
    1 onion, sliced thin
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced thin
    1/4 tsp. thyme
Preparation
    Marinate tenderloin overnight in Chablis.
    Melt butter in saucepan; stir in thyme.
    Add onion; simmer until mixture cooks down to half volume.
    Add mushrooms; cook 4 minutes.
    Cut a pocket in tenderloin and stuff with onion and mushroom mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes per pound.
