Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon grease
    3 to 4 lb. piece of beef
    6 carrots
    8 medium potatoes
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    6 to 8 small cooking onions
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in bacon grease on both sides.
    Add enough water to cover beef.
    Add chopped onion.
    Cover pan and cook for approximately 2 hours.
    Add carrots, onions and potatoes under beef and cook until tender.
