Apple Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. rolled oats
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    4 c. chopped, peeled apples
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients.
    Cut in butter, until crumbly.
    Press 1/2 of the mixture into a 9 in. square pan.
    Cover with apples.
    In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, water, and vanilla.
    Cook and stir until thick and clear.
    Pour over the apples.
    Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0F for about an hour or until the apples are tender.
    Yield: 8 servings.
