Sally'S Famous Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. Crisco
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. buttermilk, 1 tsp. soda dissolved in it
    3 to 4 c. flour
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, sour cream and buttermilk. Mix in rest of dry ingredients; add enough flour to handle good. Roll out on board.
    Cut and fry in hot lard.
    Makes about 30 doughnuts
