Caramel Popcorn Topping - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. white sugar
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. Karo light or dark syrup
    1/4 c. water
    1 sq. butter or margarine
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/4 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients, except the soda; cook to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1/4 teaspoon soda.
    Covers 1 cup uncooked popcorn.
    Makes 3 poppers.
