Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 lb. citron
1 lb. candied cherries
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cider or pineapple juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
1 c. coconut
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pecans
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Fold in stiffly beaten eggs. Flour the fruits to prevent lumping together.
Put all ingredients into mixing bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.
Bake in slow oven at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
