Savory Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sliced carrots
1 green pepper, cut into 1-inch squares
1 garlic clove, minced
2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 c. catsup
1 c. water
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 Tbsp. water
2 lb. cleaned and deveined shrimp
cooked rice, if desired
Preparation

In large skillet, saute carrots, pepper and garlic in butter. Stir in catsup, water, soy sauce, sugar and salt.
Cover.
Simmer 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Add shrimp and cook 5 to 10 minutes until shrimp are pink and tender.
