New England Boiled Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 corned brisket of beef
    8 small onions
    8 whole carrots
    4 potatoes, quartered
    2 turnips, cubed
    1 green cabbage, cut into wedges
Preparation
    Place meat into heavy skillet.
    Cover with hot water.
    Simmer about 3 hours.
    Skim off excess fat and add onion, carrots, potatoes and turnips.
    Cover and cook 20 minutes.
    Add cabbage and continue cooking 10 to 15 minutes.
