Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10-inch) baked pie crust
    1 qt. strawberries, sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch and water and let come to a good boil.
    Stir in strawberry jello.
    Let cool until slightly thickened. Pour over the strawberries in the pie shell and refrigerate.
    Add Cool Whip before you serve.
