Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. crushed saltines
5 tsp. melted butter
2 1/2 c. thin sliced onions
2 tsp. oil
2 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Combine crumbs and butter.
Press into an 8-inch baking dish. Bake for 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Saute onions until tender; place on top of cracker mixture.
Mix other ingredients, except for cheese; pour over onions.
Top with cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
