Grandma Ricci'S Bracciole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    previously prepared Italian tomato sauce
    1/2 c. raisins
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
    1/2 c. pine nuts
    1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    8 slices beef (top round), sliced thin
    salt
    pepper
    4 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Mix raisins, chopped garlic, parsley, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese in bowl.
    With mallet, pound beef until 1/8-inch thick. Spread mixture across slices of beef and roll meat jelly roll fashion; salt and pepper.
    Tie meat with string.
    Brown rolled beef in small amount of oil or Pam.
    Finish cooking in prepared simmering Italian sauce for 1 hour.
    Remove string before serving.
