Italian Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 bread slices
    1/2 c. water
    2 eggs
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce or stewed tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. parsley, snipped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
Preparation
    Soak bread slices in water for 2 minutes. Add eggs and mix well.
    Mix with ground beef, cheese, parsley, salt, oregano and pepper.
    With wet hands, form meat mixture into small balls. Brown slowly in hot salad oil. Drain. Add meatballs to sauce. Simmer, loosely covered, for 30 minutes.
